Athlete Name: Justin Lucero
Hometown: Albuquerque, NM
Education: Currently in 7th grade
Tell us a little about yourself.
I like to play football and basketball. I’ve been playing in a football league since I was 7, but have loved football longer than that. I like playing basketball and will be trying out for my schools team in October. I’ve been on the news while playing flag football which was so much fun! It wasn’t my favorite team the Steelers though! I also play the alto saxophone, but I love football more, because I don’t like sitting for too long.
Tell us what motivates you the most.
Football motivates me the most. I want to be the best player and someday play for the Pittsburg Steelers.
Why do you exercise?
I exercise because I enjoy it and it makes me feel good. I also exercise to stay healthy and keep my lungs clear.
What do you want to be when you grow up?
I want to be a professional football player and also a football coach.
Who is your role model?
I have two role models. First is Willy Parker, because he is a great football player. Second, is Hines Ward because he reminds me of me. Neither one of us run fast, but we can both catch and are great at it!
